Daryl Emmett

 Construction Technology Teacher

Hi, my name is Darryl Emmett and I am the Construction Technology Teacher. I  began this job during the 21-22 school year and I am excited for this opportunity. I went to Delaware Valley Central High School, which is now known as Sullivan West High School and attended this exact CTE program while here. Attending the Construction program is what drew me to enter this field which I now have 25 years of experience in. Prior to becoming a CTE teacher, I was a Union Carpenter Foreman. I have my OSHA 30 certification as well as numerous leadership training and awards. In my free time I enjoy spending time with my two children, hunting, snowmobiling, cooking, and I’m active in the volunteer fire department.

Teaching Assistant

My name is Harley, and I have four years of experience in Animal Science. Before becoming a Teaching Assistant, I attended Liberty High School. I also worked for the Center For Discovery and was a Teacher Aide in the G-MOD. I study at SUNY Sullivan, where I am working on my early childhood education degree. What drew me into the field was that I was in the CTE program in high school and truly enjoyed it! I missed the work and the teachers, and I'm glad I have the opportunity to help teach our students the way I was taught years ago. I like playing video games, baking, and spending time with my family and pets. A fun fact about me is that I love collecting perfumes and pretty rocks.
